According to a recent test drive done by me in a friend’s car.
Uber reliable
Easy to park
Pot holes (my biggest problem here in Sao Paulo) are basically nothing.
Floods and snow? No problemo
Comfy enough for the long hours spent sitting during traffic jams.
Better than this.

I wish we got cool stuff like that in the states. Our small SUVs are pretty much exclusively CUVs, with the exception of the two-door wrangler.

It’s not the Montero, but it is its’ cooler foreign cousin!
The Montero was sold in the states until 2006. The Pajero, however, continues to be sold. The evo version (never sold in the states) is the one to have and the racing evo version was used in the Dakar rally.

Two-door Montero! We never got this generation of it here, but other markets do.
